卒姆托说:"当你喜欢一些材料并坦诚地去接触它的时候，你会把它用得很好，很温暖亲切。"项目设计的开头便围绕材料展开。

"When you love something and you're open to it, you use it well and it's warm and intimate," Zumthor says. The design of the project begins with materials.

从外侧的阳台步入室内，空间由幽深转向明亮开阔，是设计将乐章中前奏到主歌的过渡转化到空间。直接映入眼帘的是如同水体一般灵动而具有力量感的氛围，剔透而坚实的落地玻璃大面积铺设，微水泥使空间的调性在材料的调动下得到升华。

What you see directly is a flexible and powerful atmosphere just like water. Carved and solid floor-to-ceiling glass is laid in a large area. Micro-cement sublimates the tonality of the space under the mobilization of materials.

构造的诗意

逻辑清晰的结构和构造就能产生永恒的美。用马曼奴批刮的墙颇具韵律感，不断变化的体量具有指向性。墙体的面积逐渐变小，它们之间的空隙则逐渐增大，犹如对仗一般，这样既为室内滤进一些外部景观与光线，我们又不至于在欣赏内部环境时被外景吸引过多注意力。结构的比例变化为表达方式，空间的秩序感自此产生。

Logical structure and construction can produce eternal beauty. The wall scraped with Mamanu has a sense of rhythm, and the constantly changing volume has directivity.

整体以"疏影横斜水清浅，暗香浮动月黄昏"为意象，勾勒出有着当代肌理的诗画意。

The whole to "thin shadow slanting water shallow, dark fragrance floating moon dusk" as the image, outline has a contemporary texture of poetry and painting.

界面与景深

"人造房子，房子也造人。"好的空间氛围塑造的感官体验是在形式之上的。洽谈区天花作中空处理，外部覆以木制悬梁，光源经过顶部的过滤柔和地散发而出，充满烟雨朦胧的美感。

"A house is made, and a house is made." The sensory experience shaped by good space atmosphere is based on form.

透过玻璃能够观望到外部轻柔的云船，看其与朦胧的星宿光图结合，不由得想到明初诗人唐珙的诗句:"醉后不知天在水，满船清梦压星河。"置身云船之下，体会到的只有诗句中纯粹感官体验。

艺术与自然

身处下沉洽谈区时，若风光正好，可见窗外虬劲盎然的草木，粼粼波光反射到窗台上、天花上，在人工空间中无比贴近自然，是难以言明的舒畅。
